TEAM

People who make it happen

Bev and Bob have over 60 years combined experience in architectural design and have been working together for longer than either of them can remember. They bring their unique blend of planning and construction knowledge to every project.

Using CAD software and cutting-edge technology Bob brings designs to life whilst ensuring the technical detail is resolved, paving the way to a smooth build.

Bob Dilworth

From an early age Bob had an interest in buildings and coupled with an enjoyment of Maths and Technical Drawing at school it was a natural progression to continue studies leading to becoming an architectural technologist.

He began his career working for architectural practices in Birmingham and then for a local builder and developer with Bob setting up his own practice in 1992. Bob is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists and a proud recipient of their Gold Award.

“Often a client will approach us with a list of requirements but not knowing how they can make it work; with our broad experience we can be creative and make suggestions to clients that not only meet their needs but do so in a cost-effective manner.”

Bev Cunnington

Bev started her career in finance and managing a business in the ports and dock industry before joining Bob. She took on the business management side incorporating the practice in 2002 before broadening her skillset in the planning aspect of architecture.

She has a full understanding of permitted development rights to ensure clients can maximise these benefits without the need to apply for planning consent. Having forged strong working relationships with local authorities Bev can negotiate on behalf of the client to achieve planning consent.

“A client may have an idea of what they want to achieve, with our knowledge and experience we can advise them what is feasible from a planning permission perspective and what is possible without needing to apply for planning consent.”
